Calculations are estimates

The calculators use standard unit conversions and typical values, such as average wax densities and common maximum fragrance loads. Real products vary. Always follow the instructions, maximum fragrance load and temperatures published by your wax and fragrance suppliers.

Candle safety

Candles involve open flames and hot wax. Test-burn every new combination of wax, fragrance, wick and container before giving away or selling candles. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Use fragrance oils that are sold as safe for candles, follow the usage limits on their safety documents, and comply with the labeling and safety rules that apply where you sell.
